Dr. G. S. Bapi Raju is a distinguished academician, accomplished researcher, and visionary leader with over three decades of experience across academia and industry.

He holds an exceptional academic background with three postgraduate degrees — M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), M.Sc (Nuclear Physics), and MBA (HRM & Finance) — and earned his Doctorate in Nuclear Physics from Andhra University in 2012.

He is the Architect of the GRIET Skill Development Cell (GSDC), established in 2018, a pioneering initiative that has significantly contributed to bridging the gap between academia and industry through skill-based education and global certifications.

Dr. Bapi Raju is a life member of CSI, ISTE, and BRNS, demonstrating his continued engagement with professional and research communities. He is also an accredited instructor for globally recognized platforms including Cisco, Amazon AWS, Celonis, Palo Alto Networks, Red Hat, and Blue Prism.

His contributions to education and training have earned him prestigious recognitions, including the Instructor Excellence Awards from Cisco and Amazon AWS.

He previously served as Professor, in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Dean – Internships at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET), Hyderabad until December 2025, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening industry collaborations, internships, and student career readiness.
